LGBTQ+ Family Newborn Prep
Not every newborn class reflects every family’s path to parenthood. This private in-home experience was intentionally created for LGBTQ+ families who want expert newborn education in a space that feels welcoming, relevant, and genuinely supportive. Whether your baby is joining your family through surrogacy, adoption, feeding at the breast or chest, or bottle feeding, this class intentionally centers on practical newborn care, connection, feeding support, creating systems at home, and helping you step into parenthood with confidence.
Best For: Two dads, trans parents, nonbinary parents, intended parents through surrogacy, adoptive families, solo LGBTQ+ parents, and any family wanting affirming, relevant newborn education.
Duration: 3.5–4 hour private in-home session
When to Book: 32-37 weeks pregnant or 3-8 weeks before baby’s expected arrival date
What We Cover:
The First Days With Baby
What to realistically expect in the first two weeks, newborn behavior, hunger cues vs sleepy cues, emotional wellness, and how to reduce overwhelm early.
Newborn Care Essentials
Diapering, bathing, swaddling, soothing, burping, umbilical cord care, bonding, newborn behavior, dressing baby comfortably.
Feeding Foundations
Bottle feeding, paced feeding, formula basics, combo feeding, feeding cues, spit-up and reflux basics, and guidance tailored to your family’s feeding goals.
Sleep + Night Survival
Safe sleep, realistic newborn sleep expectations, day/night confusion, soothing rhythms, healthy habits, and partner shift strategies.
Personalized Home Coaching
Nursery and bassinet setup review, household flow, partner support strategies, visitors and boundaries, and building your village.
